Pros

This unit runs equal to or quieter than any of the 3 other units we’ve had. Even on its high setting, at which the colzer moves lots of air, the sound is unobtrusive.

The humidity is always dialed in where i set it. For some reason, my apartment has so much moisture in the summer and winter. Air in my basement and 2nd / 3rd floor levels of my home are completely without moisture. I live in florida, and the windows ... Read More

The controls on this unit are very simple and intuitive. Setup and use are pretty self-explanatory. Very impressive unit does full sized basement very well.

The colzer dehumidifier is not cheap but it is totally worthy for me. If you have any issues the customer service is impeccable. It's nicely built and designed.

Colzer collects a full tank of water overnight. Can be attached to a plastic tube to run continuously. Warningsticker warns that the drain tube has to be positioned just so.

Cons

Dehumidifier claimed to be 140 pint capacity. Would not remove more than 1 gallon in 24 hrs in 65% humidity air in our 2000 sq ft.

Even compared the humidity reading on the unit to several hygrometers and always a spot on match

Contacted colzer support and they promptly replaced it with a brand new unit
