Pros

The fit of the 10. Tough like boots, feel like sneakers. He has trouble finding shoes that are truley wide enough for him, and struggles with some foot pain, but these fit him great! I am a 9 1/2 and these boots fit perfectly.

The suede upper is very pliable so no breaking in period required. The rubber sole has serious tread, even around edges. The boot is also waterproof, making it ideal for use in wet or inclement weather.

Cons

They're very hard to lace and the lace won't last. The inserts aren’t as comfortable as they should be for a hiking boot. These shoes are disposable cool hikers for walking around on pavement not real hiking boots.

Cushioned area of sole makes an annoying, embarrassing squeal after a month as you walk. Chunks of tread from the bottom of the shoes keep falling off. While not completely flat tires, they definitely have a deflated feel.
