Pros

Columbia's omni-heat and omni-tech is absolutely amazing! Great quality and quite warm for being lightweight. Quality, fit, comfort and warmth is what you get.

All the zippers function smoothly on mine. Would like to have a 2 way zipper. The fleece liner is great.

The bugaboo ii jacket is a little long for a large. However, it's still his preferred 3-season jacket and it has tons of pockets. I found this new jacket at such a great deal, especially considering that i really like buffalo plaid patterns.

The jacket is louder than canvas to wear, but quieter than nylon. It has thermal insulation and a fleece lining that you can remove (if you wish) and use it as a lighter jacket. The inner fleece is very warm and the jacket is waterproof.

Cons

The liner is thin and not lined so it bunches and sticks to clothing. The liner at the arms extends out past the outside jacket arms when wearing. The inner liner sleeves are too long, but the biggest problem is the arms and back are too tight.

Overall, the build of the jacket seems solid but the pictures are misleading. I own a previous generation of the columbia bugaboo jacket and still love it, but the zipper has died.

It is a good jacket for the price if you can look past some of the issues

Like getting 2 for 1 its a great price got it on sale for the 2 jackets

This is the third columbia bugaboo i have owned and when looking this time for a jacket i looked at nothing other than the bugaboo

It could maybe use another pocket or two but not a big deal
