Pros

These are very easy to connect and disconnect. Used these to replace some leaking fittings. They seem to hold up well, this coming from a person who has a tendency to * everything like a gorilla.

These have 4 balls inside vs the cheap ones which have 3. By comparison high end merlin’s usually have 6 balls. Very pleased and will buy more.



Cons

Pieces are made of featherweight aluminum with weakly-sprung connectors. After just a few used they become unusable because the coupler bits into the end and the retaining *. Besides that it has a weak finish that a human nail can scratch it.

We use the compressor about twice a month and in the last 2 months, two of the female couplers have started to leak. After a weekend working on the project car, they already leak despite use of thread sealer. Also, the coupler leaks.

    Not 1 fitting has started leaking and we abuse our air lines they just lay in the dirt and oil after there dropped there maybe 50 times a day

    Do yourself a favor and use pfte tape on the threads before installing these for a night and airtight fit

    These work great but after a few years the auminium does wear off causing them to decouple but it takes years for thta to happen
