I had an xs martingale collar on my dog because she is an escape artist

The martingale collar seemed to be the correct answer because it had no buckle to break and would tighten up a bit if she tried to pull out of her collar backwards

I had seen warnings about not leaving one of these on a dog full time but her other collar fit so well i didnt see the problem

The bottom loop was pretty small on her small collar

All the hardware is chromed metal

So the collar must be on her every time i let her out several times a day and the expers are also saying not to use this collar for a tieout unless the dog is being directly supervised at all times

Collardirect reflective martingale dog collar nylon heavy duty training pet collars for small medium large dogs puppy pink orange black bluesize small pinknice reflective collar metal pull pieces which is nice for strength against pulling or leash straineasily slipped onto and adjusted quickly for correct size on my large breed puppyroom to grow with this collar which is niceare puppy is extremely furry so actually correcting her with this collar has shown little to no effect it’s as though she cannot feel the correction tightening when she pulls on leashthe collar is sitting high enough and is measured correctly on her neck for training it just seems as though it’s not making it through all of her furso if your dog happens to be new level furry like ours you may need the pronged martingale collar to make it through the furall in all well made well stitched collar

The only thing i didn’t like is that the final fitting has to be on the dog or i couldn’t fit it over my dogs head
