It was purchased to replace my previous umbrella that cost the same but succumbed to highland gales being blown inside out and eventually its spokes buckled and snapped

Unusually for this type of umbrella when open pressing the button again will close the canopy but you still have to manually shrink it back down to a short length

Its very elegant indeed and does the job of being a walking stick very easily too which is a great bonus as some walking umbrellas out there can be very flimsy and not very well constructed

The feel of it is solid and strong yet its lightweight because the whole shaft is fiberglass
