Pros

Stainless steel, glass knob, great coffee. I start the stove on high, then turn to low as it perks. Tablespoons of course coffee grinds suits my taste in my 9 cup pot.

The company is veteran owned and operated. Not a big deal, just a slight inconvenience. Also live in bad weather zone so can work for power outages.

Cons

The company needs to do better and correct the shabby quality control! Am now returning it, and will look elsewhere. No pick up. Going to donate with a note inside. Should receive a total refund.

The coletti takes over 30 minutes to boil on my electric cooktop. Lid hinge is very flimsy and wobbly. Handle wood is loose and moves about.

While the coffee it makes is delicious it’s now pretty much unusable unless i want to risk swilling glass. I let it percolate for 6 minutes and then poured a small taste - still weak.

I gave it only 4 stars because the metal piece at the bottom of handle gets very hot so you can easily burn your hand

I like the size of this coffee pot it brews a good cup of coffee just enough for two people who like that extra cup

I really liked this percolator but did not like that it requires filters
