    It is not tinned so not suitable for some applications where corrosion could be an issue but worked for my rv application

    One thing i wasnt sure of when i bought this is if it is stranded or solid core wire the item page has neither of those words

    I couldnt route it through any of the normal holes for 16 gauge wire and comparing it to other solid 16ga the insulation is much thicker

    Perhaps thats what youre looking for in case of abrasive surfaces or potential for large voltage transients but it didnt work for my application
