Pros

Its expensive but lasts a long time as there is no waste. Cheaper mail order (even after high cost shipping) at midland hardware and ideal true value hardware.

Cole's hot meats is the only bird seed that i feed the birds. The squirrels are relentless at my sunflower meats feeders. I have a snowman bird feeder that holds 2 1/2 pounds of seed and the birds absolutely love this.

Cons

Hot peppers do not deter squirrels or chipmunks from eating from a bird feeder. Dust from the feeder can cause burning to the hands and eyes. Hot peppers are not recommended for bird feeders.

I tried another brand and the squirrels just ate it up

It is better than the other hot 34treats34 for wild birds but i have at least two squirrels who think it is salsa
