Pros
It shows discoloration and wear quickly, but oiling the blade helps keep it dark and shiny. The sheath works well enough and is the traditional core-ex as used on most cold steel machetes. Seems very snug and made well though.
The cs bowie machete has a rubberized checkered grip and doesn't need anything done, really. Has the heft of a lightmachete but still bowie sized. For the price, it is perfect.
Cons
Fit and finish is poor. Not sharp at all. Feels very cheap.

I installed a piece of bicycle inner tube over the handle because it is too slick and smooth

Actually the worst blade edge i have ever received on any of my 70 or so knives going back to the mid80s

Also remember it is not an expensive knife and in my honest opinion you definitely get what you pay for plus quite a bit more
