Pros

Colavita is our favorite extra * olive oil. I love the flavor profile of this olive oil, it is mild and nutty, a little bit of artichoke.

Cons

The one i bought over a year ago has a much longer expiration date. This oil is just too hyped. It has an exp date in 2021, but it is rancid and foul.

Problem with pouring is the plastic spout inserted in the bottle doesn't function right. Will be notifying amazon customer service of these issues.

This olive oil is not solely italian olive oil. Marketed as “italian” made with olives near rome. The bottle i received contains olive oil from greece and portugal. Not much aroma.

Packaging/appearance

Love the glass packaging as well i feel it is cleaner than plastic bottled oils

Unfortunately this order was poorly packaged allowing oil to leak throughout the entire box and one bottle was completely missing

The top was wrapped in plastic but it was interesting trying to get it off lol

Competitiveness

It tastes almost as good as the expensive olive oils in belgium

I am a home cook so i cannot compare this professionally but i do really like it and this is all i buy now

The price is comparable if not lower than other similar brands

Ive probably tried 30 different brands of evoo but i like colavita premium selection extra virgin olive oil the best
