They work with pixel 3a and android auto on vw mmi system which was the main objective for me

I mention this because i tried a similar cable from amazon which did not work with my phone and android auto in my car it was constantly dropping connection after few seconds

This cable appears to be very durable the pc laptop and the ipad pro did synchronize properly when the cable is connected however the ipad pro did not show being charged from the pc

This cable did allow the ipad pro to be charged when connected to a cigarette lighter adapter i also bought at the same time to use in the car so the cable appears to be working properly the charging issue when connected to the pc laptop may be due to compatibility or charging current control limitation which i am not concerned with

The cable sheathing is not like the classic telephone cord material

Im really glad the connection to the phone is strong the usb does not come apart from the phone easily
