Pros & Cons
Pros
It's much better for the price than some others that are just charging you for the brand. Good product decent price. Overall very pleased.
It replaces a larger, industrial kitchen sized one for me. Doesn't move around on the counter when knocking. Looks aesthetically pleasing by my coffee maker. This works perfectly to knock out the coffee.
The bar is made of a thick silicone, to minimize noise. Padded on the knock bar and base with rubber, it’s quieter than most too. There are square ones with the bump bar that is not * dab in the middle.
The knocking bar and bucket are very sturdy. Though it's plastic, it's sturdy plastic. This is durable.
Highlights
Quality
Good quality knock box nice design the knock bar has alittle bumperpedded so when u knock too hard it wont hurt your porta filter
This version with the metal bar is great
Then my sorry self would clean the portafilter and start over
Purchased one with the rubber bar so it makes less noise
Price
It is sturdy and looks elegant alongside my small espresso machine which cost me 800
Packaging/appearance
You can dump about 7 or 8 pucks into the bucket before disposing
Just a few bumps and the puck drops into the bucket
Before this my system was to cup my hand beneath the portafilter and do a quick bang on the garbage can to release the puck
Competitiveness
The bar sits in place well and there’s enough room to knock a portafilter on it
