Hardware configuration via dip switches is awesome no os configuration required at all

The old keyboard worked fine for mac while it was never comfortable for linux despite rearranging key layouts

The fnmedia keys are also more intuitive and much easier to use one handed than a typical keyboard although you have to give up the menu key to use the fn key which is a slight disappointment

Would have liked it better to be able to control the leds without having lost the menu key but you can only control them if you set menu as function but that is a minor nit pick

I like the cord to run straight out the back of the keyboard and the stupid retainer for the cord doesnt hold it firmly enough to keep the connector from pulling out occasionally or stressing it

Id rather not have a detachable cord at all than have a crappy setup like this
