The cb radio i purchased is fantastic i use rechargeable aa batteries and i do extreme dxing with this cb and i put a diy 17 foot antenna on it and i can talk to places like texas and yellow knife so if you didnt think a handheld cb can do this they do it over in england 3 times a week check out youtube for dxing by cb radio
