    I use this power for my 2009 hp g71 laptop and and hp g65 laptop and and iphone and it supports all this stuff just fine some complaints about a green and red light i saw but that just means it switched to surge watts which is 400 and it lasts up to an hour on that nothing bad also you need to check the wattage on your laptop some of the older laptops draw a lot of power so you need a bigger inverter but most of the time this will work for any laptop after 2005 or so

    Plug into civic lighter plug and turn on ignition and you get a red led but no ac power out

    What i did find on some planes was that i needed to plug each in orderpower port adapter computer

    Pretty sure it is a modified sine wave type inverter because it causes a buzz in my radio

    I most likely would use it to power a low wattage led light or other device but not any type of ham radio
