Pros

The cobra 8 channel 1tb dvr is very good hd quality, night especially. Instructions could be clearer, i have to say. Eight different sensitivity levels for the motion detector.

Easy-to-set-up system with easy to use setup wizard. Can't recommend this system enough. Fits the necessary criteria dvr, hd, mobile access, ac powered. Easy to install with new rj45 connectors and balun connector.

It is very reliable and the build quality is acceptable

However the quality with six cameras attached is quite good

You will have to lower the video quality a bit to record for longer than a few days

There are much clearer cameras out there like 5mp ip cameras but you wont be getting it for anywhere near this price

Some really handy tips forget the wires they give you go out and buy some direct burialuvwaterproof cat5e or cat6 cable in bulk
