Pros & Cons

The AI used to provide these results are constantly improving. These results might change.

Pros

The adjustments on the stripper are easy to change, and the compression tool is smooth and easy. The instructions do not tell you to fold down the first aluminum cover and pull down on the mesh wire, but do not mess with the inner foil.

Of the diy crimpers i've used, these are the best. No real complaints. Would recommend this product.

Cons

The crimper travel length is too short for commercially available compression fittings found at lowes-home d etc. The enclosed comp fitting they send are much longer.

The tool works as described the stripper ia a little hard to understand but after watching a utube video it works

I also went online to check out the very useful utube videos first

It is possible that since i have a true rg6 cable the equipment was already adjusted to it

Cheaper than the other crimpers ive tried before and better

I refused to have a technician to come over and repair my cable for like 70 where i can just buy this for 10 and repair it myself

I did not need to do any adjustments to the stripper

However the first run i tried stripped the cable perfectly the crimper did the job and the cabled worked

It is possible that since i have a true rg6 cable the equipment was already adjusted to it

Maybe the issue is if you have an rg59 or rg11 cables or maybe i just got luck

There are two blades and they both need to be adjusted for the diameter wire youre using

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The outer blade needs to cut everything but the center wire and the inner blade just needs to cut the outside cover

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

It took me about 10 different attempts before i was able to make my first wire but only 3 attempts to make my second termination using a different diameter wire
