First off this is a great light kit when used mounted on a camera it can be a bit top heavy and the included hot shoe attachment is very cheap and flimsy

There is an onoff switch on the back along with two dials to control brightness and colour temperature along with a small screen that shows you your current settings and battery life

I would also find a different hot shoe adapter if planning to attach to any camera

I dont really use filters but the orange one supplied might be worth trying out to vary my final results a tad
