Bought as a christmas present for my 8 year old nephew. We have a much older, smaller, set of the magnetics and wanted this one as an addition so grandson #2 could build more things. They fight over it lol.

The toy is well made and the sticks are magnetized. Strong enough to dangle three of the steel balls from the end. Good rubber coating on the sticks, not thin/flimsy.

Lots of parts for mindless diversion. It has a sturdy metal storage container. As an unexpected plus, they come in a convenient ( albeit tacky) storage box.

These are a shameless ripoff of the much better swiss-made geomag product. The cheaper, flaky plastics give off a noxious odor. I'm a big fan of buying us, but not when it's a market quality rip off of a product known for having exceptional quality.
