Quality
The audio quality of this little amp is astonishingly good.
I have a pair of 100 watt, pro quality alesis studio monitors and a klipsch subwoofer that was part of a 2.
While i can't comment on audio quality since my application is a retro arcade and thus low quality audio to begin with, i wante... Read More
Just received the product, haven't used it yet.
Competitiveness
This is easily driving a pair of 4 ohm, 280w peak, 80w rms 4 way speakers and a 300w peak, 100w rms 8 subwoofer with no problem.
I used an old 12v 1a power supply and two alpine 6x9’s.
I used a 19v laptop power supply which plugged right into the board.
The one is hooked up to a 12inch sub in a sealed enclosure i had laying around for the last several years.

You have to keep in mind a few things when evaluating this stereo amp: it’s ridiculously cheap, it’s a class d amplifier (leading to a very compact footprint), and it uses an external power supply (meaning sound volume and quality will be hindered by poor power delivery).

It did have a bit of humming but i hard wired the power and it seemed to help, also the audio jack is a bit sloppy it causes some humming also but if you wiggle the audio cable it stops.

I ordered a bluetooth audio input so hopefully that will work better.

Quiet circuit with no audio input.

The speaker terminals are small and will not accommodate speaker wire larger than perhaps 16 gauge.

Anything larger might result in potential shorts with stray filaments across the +/- terminals or with neighboring terminals.

Edit: had to resolder the speaker connections on bottom of board.
