Pros & Cons

Pros

First of all these are made in the usa. Secondly, the packaging is simple but tells you about the socks. Thirdly, the fabric is incredibly soft and made of high quality wool.

They fit perfectly with good cushioning and no shrinkage after a first wash and dry. They are thin but durable, breathable and warm.

The material is a blend of wool, nylon and spandex. It seems to wick moisture well. They keep my feet comfortable whether i'm slogging through wetlands in florida or hiking up mountains in norway.

It is so hard to find socks that fit a 12 wide-ish foot, especially in the toes. Note to the manufacturer, the toe seam could be tweaked a little bit. Heavier versions will shrink slightly, but the lighter versions should be ordered to size.

I normally use darn tough but find that their thinner socks wear out after a few hundred miles of trail running. Used those to climb mt katahdin, not one blister after 9 hours. Holding up to wear also helps the socks maintain even warmth.

Cons

Merino wool, however, it doesn't have that merino wool feel. Odd shape of the toes and the heel. Might as well be a cotton sock - got holes within 15 to 20 uses.
