Highlights
Quality
There was an instant boost in the quality of my audio
Paired with the shure sm7b it is a powerful tool for creating lush tight vocals
Price
It does exactly what it is designed to do and the price is fair
Competitiveness
I have a pretty good pre with lots of gain so i chanced it relying on my experience that a cloudlifter wasn’t needed for an sm7b
If you have a shure sm7b this is a must have
Any dynamic would benefit from a cloudlifter
Fixed all the noise issues i was having with my sm57 plugged into mixerpreamp

This amazing device is designated to support dynamic mics with clean gain but dont buy it for condenser mics as there will be no benefit buying it otherwise its perfect and giving your mic energy and coloring you wont be able to hear them before

We have a gap r1 st and it was just too quiet coming into our audio interface and of course you can’t use 48v on this ribbon or you could fry it

When i didn’t have this i was definitely getting line noise brining the preamp above 6 but this eliminated the need to have it up higher than 4 reducing noise
