If used correctly, this is a great solution to your darkness problems. Brightness, for the size is great. My closet is books and one light strip is doing fine.
The motion detector is the key to the usefulness and functionality of this product. They have three settings, ‘off’, “on’ and ‘auto’. This light is perfect in a creepy hall closet i have in the basement.
An adhesive magnet strip and a couple of anchors and screws are provided. Magnetic part is strong and the light never comes off the magnet. Just peel back the 3m adhesive and stick it onto any surface.
I hope these ideas prove helpful. Highly recommend this product. Just the ticket for a cabinet or closet.
Light is rechargeable via a micro-usb port on the side. Runs on a rechargable battery so you don't need to have it constantly plugged in. Comes with a microusb charger to charge.

Note that if you choose to use the adhesive backing rather than the eyelets you’ll want to place it directly near an outlet to charge

Ended up looking at the very much unread directions and saw that the auto function only works when its dark💁🏾♀️ sigh

I have bought a variety of motion lights to put up in closets but they all seem to fall down if using the supplies adhesive too small or not bright enough

The motion detector will not see movement sometimes

It lit up the whole building that is 20’ x 20’so definitely would be great for a closer or small space
