I just use the strips along with the color chart that comes with some versions of the strips. The app reads the strip and calculates the chemicals for you! I’m pretty excited to see how these new recommendations help.

Total chlorine of 0 and free chlorine of 3. Total alkalinity shows low when it's normal. Frankly, i find it to be inconsistent with the chlorox’ liquid test.

Scan test results are neither repeatable nor reproducible. Even trying to read results manually was difficult. For example- it says my pool hardness is 500. My pool looks great, except for the ring of calcium around the water line tiles.
