Removed the old broken spring and slid on the new one. Put new cables turned the end bearings to put tension on the cables and tightened down one of the allen screws.

Over tight will cause the door to stop when it is closing because the sensors think the door had hit an object

When opening the door for the first time stop it often and check the cables to make sure they have tension if they dont lower the door and tighten the spring making sure the cable stays on track

If you over tighten then the door will stop when closing
