Evidently the hdmlcloner pro helper application was intended to issue a specific error message in this case but the latest version of that running on a recent windows 10 update did not

When i reported the privacy settings resolution to them they indicated that the developer team will be looking into the hdmlcloner pro helper application to ensure a proper error message

While able to preview video images and capture gif and still image snapshots generated only 259byte long nonplayable capture files
