Rubber tips on both ends make it easy to hang your bag without fiddling around. It opens easily and closes securely.

The grip pad is very durable. It's also pretty durable as far as cosmetics. It also is great in shopping cart tethering my purse to the cart.

The clip is sturdy and i leave it attached to my purse strap. My purse is heavy, but the clip handles the weight just fine. The weight this thing holds is impressive.

It's bigger than i thought and isn't as versatile as you'd hope. The metal is not as nice and the hinge mechanism is poor in quality. It’s in a drawer now.

Hanging on a seatback is less desirable because it is more likely to get bumped into or fall off. Ring ends have small, rubber anti-skid pads, they are too small. It claims to fall back onto your purse when done, but it just falls off onto the floor.
