Pros & Cons
Pros
Small & flexible so it fits better in our small kitchen than the now-retired colander. My new favorite kitchen gadget. Like the extra accessories!
This gadget is a must for noodles and draining fat! It makes cooking so much faster. I use it to strain pasta and also my overly watery stir fry. This works well and is so much easier than using the pot lid or getting out a big colander.
You want to put the strainer on before using the pot/pan because it takes a little finagling. Just clip it on any size pan and drains with no mess. No more balancing act trying to drain veggies using the pan cover.
Cons
This is impossible to use for draining grease!
