Good quality has not ripped or stained
I have not gotten the bag wet yet so i can’t talk of that feature but i am very pleasantly surprised with this bag for 14
And they dared to blame it on the quality vs their own silliness

We used ours for a cruise to carry on the ship

The only downside is that there isnt much organizational space so everything falls the the bottom
It repells rain water none got into the pack
Did have a water bottle leak inside the pack and all the water stayed in and never leaked out lolvery lightweight which is a plus

Reason why i say this is because i did run into two silly people on my trip who reported dissatisfaction with their similar backpacks
