In my experience i found that if i removed the tubing from the end of the stopper then carefully aligned and twisted it into the opening of the water bottle that it indeed did fit correctly and snugly thus not allowing the water bottle to leak

I have a good run with this device so far i its worth to buy it mine is already broke and im about to order the same one again

I even tried to buy an adapter at the local hardware store but it was just ridiculous and never worked

I bought them together because naturally i thought that the same company would have enough common sense to make everything universal or at least say they were different
