It indeed has a 8 by 12 bottom without stretching the bag. The inside of the bag has 12 pockets that hold my screwdrivers. There are three pockets inside that are the same width and height as the 3 outside pockets.
The pouch is easily bungie netted on to the back seat of a motorcycle. For the price it seems like it would hold some tools like a champ.
Sure to last many years. This bag succeed that. checking in 5 years later.

Overall i am extremely pleased with the quality of this product
Only four stars due to the quality could be a bit better but for the price its a good deal

There are three pockets inside that are the same width and height as the 3 outside pockets which you should be able to see in the product photo the tan and black bag

The way it opens kind of reminds me of the old town doctors black tool bag that he would bring for a home visit which you may see in some black and white movies or television shows

This clc bag was larger though the item description on both said 12 inches

This one also had storage pockets on the inside three on each side that look much like the pockets pictured on the outside
