It is also useful for checking to see if something is draining a vehicles battery just put the clamp on one of the battery cables and test for dc amps then if it isnt zero the problem is not the battery

Hypothetically if at some moment it needs adjustment you cold open the back cover voids the warranty and trim it there are 6 trim pots

They look nice even come with end caps but the wire is made of cheap plastic thats very stiff
