One very useful feature is the backlight great for darker places and a hold button to keep a reading on display for a few seconds after you have removed the probes excellent and it makes the whole process of getting a reading without having to possibly slip and either lose the reading or receiving a nasty electric shock

For me one of the big plusses is the screen size

One is as a conventional multimeter the second is the more specialised clamp meter function

With the clamp feature to get a meaningful reading the meter requires the clamp be placed around a single insulated core live of the power supply to be monitored
