Even with ear buds in listening to music i can hear it beep if the music isnt too loud

One thing i thought was odd is that it didnt come with a battery and the product description said it didnt come with one but the packing was clearly designed to also hold a battery for the device the plastic is molded in the shape of a battery just below the timer

Everyone i run with can hear it just fine so its just my ears not the device

When i first got it it worked for a short period of time after i put in a battery maybe 10 minutes as i was figuring out how to set it up

I dont know what that not working was all about but that is why i am giving the device 4 stars instead of 5

One final note i have to hold it in my hand when i run instead of clipping it to my shirt because i cant feel the vibration when it is clipped for some reason
