As long as you know where to put the batteries in lower half on the top side of the mouse remove it like on a remote control its not too difficult to set up

For anyone who orders this unit the back part of the top of the unit slides back and lifts up

I worked for a half hour trying to get the battery compartment open thinking it was stuck and finally read previous poster r schaffer’s review saying the top slides backwards

The mouse is indeed very small but somewhat thick like an overgrown ladybug
