I researched a number of switches by various manufacturers and this cisco 200series managed switch was no more expensive than other managed and unmanaged switches of similar portdensities and formfactors rackmountable by leading manufacturers

It will work as a dumb switch right out of the box but you need to remote into it by connecting to your existing network switchrouters or directly via crossover cable to configure it for anything else
