You could go with one coat, because it's that opaque, but two coats with a fast drying topcoat makes it look like you just had a gel manicure.

In my pictures, i used a base coat, two coats of mckittrick, one coat of northern lights silver holographic top coat, and one coat of seche vive gel effect top coat.
