Pros & Cons

Pros

Quoth the raven. Great tale told by the greatest storyteller.

Prolific james patterson continues with his resurrected old-timey heroes. I have no problem with taking the shadow in a slightly different direction, but making belittling remarks about the pulps and radio shows isn’t the way to do so.

As the shadow, he seeks out and destroys those who have evil in their hearts. Margo lane assists him in his never ending battle against the powers of evil. He decides to rebuild his group of agents.

Fast-paced and easy to follow. No editing errors, gratuitous violence or drag-you-down drama.

Cons

Everything in this book feels exponentially worse than the first. Maddy, the shadow's descendant, is far more obnoxious this time around. Patterson/sitts do not understand the appeal of the shadow.
