Pros
Installed on my 2019 goldwing. Put it on my 2009 kawasaki klr 650. Was able to drill the proper size hole in the back of the console.
The leds glow all the time. Not that the leds consume a lot of power, but never the less, keep that parasitic draw down. The red glow is really cool and helps to spot that * at night.
Cons
Battery terminals too small and flimsy. Plugged in the cigarette lighter connector and the bottom of the socket fell apart. Tried to push the bottom plastic disc back on, but would not stay in place.
I am unsure how this has so many positive reviews. This 12v plug is useless to me. Very unsafe.

It lasted a month shy of a year before the connections started coming loose at the housing

It was a little loose to begin with and the threads would not pull tight without it popping loose then the ring just cracked

Bought to replace one of my broken 12v sockets and this one works great just doesn’t feel as sturdy as most

Although there is a spot to install a 12v power outlet mine did not come with one

After making sure it was clear behind the housing i drilled the correct size hole and installed the outlet
