In my tests i found the projector to draw 57 watts typically when a video is playing

I tried again using the macbooks display port attached to an hdmi adapter which normally was used to drive a large screen monitor

I checked the resolution and adjusted to the recommended resolution of the projector and rebooted both the mac and the projector

So it appears that laptops and pcs must use the vga port only

Overall i really like this projector with only the one criticism in that i couldnt get any direct hdmi link to work between computer and projector
