It can show you the distance from the top of the device or the bottom so that the distance will include the length of the device or from the middle for whatever reason

Occasionally i would come across a large variance where the top horizontal measurement of 72 window would be 54 38 but the bottom horrizontal measurement would be 53 916 across

So i would doublecheck with my tape measure to be sure and it was accurately reporting the distances

I was not sure what to expect with my first laser measurer but the cibest laser distance measurer went beyond whatever that was
