Pros

This setup has 8 settings, which all work phenomenal. Easy to install with christmas light pole installer. Different lighting modes are nice.

Bright and festive. Works perfectly for my small porch. Great idea for houses or apartments without outdoor outlets.

Cons

Add the battery to the capsule and positioning it correctly was also very difficult. Also, battery compartment difficult to secure.

Very pretty but died within two weeks in winter when powered by new alkaline batteries. Faded fast too, darker and darker and then gone. Works well for one week then lights go dim.
