The plastic casing looked flimsy when i first saw it but even after a lot of knocks and drops it has survived without breaking

Its hard to see but each case has a protective film on the entire outer shell

The upper compartment of each case zips closed so nothing falls out when you try to close the case

All innards are covered by a complete zip closed slightly padded cloth so clothes are protcted from the extendable handle runners or the bolts holding the wheels on

It doesnt fit in the little boxes they have just before you board to check the size is suitable wheels make it too long but i kinda kept it hidden behind me and got away with it
