The candle has an attractive amber glow to it and it ever so slightly flickers to give it the appearance of a real flame

Note that the flocked branches and berries cover the majority of the front of the lantern which slightly obscures the candle behind it

I find myself not turning this on all the time because i forget or i know im going to forget to turn it off and i dont want to drain the battery
