I used the ribbon that is for hanging the tree and hid it behind the star at the top

The lights were super tricky for me to figure out and i did have to refer to the amazon page to put them up

My only complaint is that the tree had random velcro squares all over it that were unnecessary each ornament has rough velcro on the back of it so they stuck to the felt with or without the soft velcro patch so the patches on the tree were useless and detracted from the look of the tree

The tree has square velcro pieces on it where the ornaments go
