I found credible sources that confirm that it binds heavy metals pesticides and chemicals in the body which is the main reason i take it as a supplement a handfull of tablets daily

They used to be a nice dark green and they smelled green

I called the companies about where it was sourced and they told me it was from the same place as always

They would not even admit there was a change in the product much less tell me why it changed

It didnt occur to me at that time that the reason for the change in color and smell could be due to increased heat in the production process

Like what happens if you overcook broccoli its no longer bright green and doesnt smell like broccoli
