The recipes are fantastic! Hr recipes are simple with not alot of complicated expensive ingredients. That is a big plus for me, since i need pictures to stimulate me and illustrate what the finished product should look like.

Great for vegans and for people watching cholesterol. My husband (non-vegan) requests the pecan bars on the regular they are absolutely amazing. Outstanding vegan recipes. Now i bring over desserts and no one even suspects that they are vegan.

The recipes are not intimidating for new vegans or novice bakers. Chloe errs on the decadent side, but that's easily modified to taste, and also helps to * non-vegans.

Mojito chocolate chip cookies are very unique and good. I was raised on butter shortbread. Still, they taste like a good, old fashioned chocolate doughnut from tim horton's or some other american doughnut place.

Bollywood cupcakes are another unique flavour combination. The shortcake is completely amazing and the chocolate beer cupcake with irish whiskey buttercream will make you want to do nothing but eat cupcakes all day long.

The blondies are more like a cookie bar (they definitely do not have that shortbread/brownie texture) the chocolate chip cookies are average at best. Cupcakes too greasy, frosting too sweet, falafel nice but measurements totally wrong.

A glaring example is she doesn't state what temp the butter should be (softened, cold, room temp, melted? Interestingly she talks about baking gone horribly wrong in the beginning and how the baker should just rename the dessert and go with it.
