Naturally id taken it to the salvation army about a month before this and some wiser soul had apparently snapped it up as there was no sign of it to be found

The lid has a deep inner rim which fits well within the pot without any untoward rattling and it will stay in place and hold water or tea when upside down just like in the picture

You need to keep your finger over the hole in the knob in the center of the lid as you are tipping the pot over tip it over very quickly so that the spout is pointing straight down then move your finger off the hole

It is small and not thickwalled those who criticize for those reasons did not know what they were buying

Not the best build quality the pour is a little goofy and the handle is very slightly off center
