Lots of action towards the end and a smashing conclusion. Scenes leading up to the revelation of the * are more intense than you'd typically find in a cozy mystery.

It has wit, humor, history and plenty of suspense. The characters are believable. A tightly written story. Believable folks in real life situations.

Madison works on a retail chicken farm. On her first job, she finds the man who hired her dead in a chicken coop. Madison has her hands full trying to make some extra cash since her husband died and left her penniless and two twin teenage kids.

The writing was extremely well done. Not at all cheesy. Clean language and no unnecessary * situations. Language used tends to be more colorful, but i do not consider it profane.

Incredible suspenseful ending to this book. A well written story in an unusual setting. The ending is incredible.

The fmc is not very bright but is overly nosy. The solution/resolution is highly improbable.

What really bothered me about the story is if you want to engage me, hire an editor! Needs to do the research.
